For the first time ever I went to a Haiku show and had the best time. You ask, what is a Haiku? Well, it’s a form of Japanese verse, written in 17 syllables divided into 3 unrhymed lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables. This was one in a series of Haiku performances – “The Maddest Man Haiku Show” featuring 50 Man Law Haiku’s was written and performed by Mr.Jeff Dess . It was a fun experience that I was glad I was finally able to attend. Along with the performance there were great prizes given out like the cool Fermented Beads bracelet I won (YAY!) and neckwear from Krimson by Kwame . His Haiku’s can also be found in a collection of books he has produced, check them out at mrjeffdess.com .
